Disassembling The Puffco Peak

It’s important to perform a deep, thorough clean to get the Peak back to a flawless condition. To do this you’ll want to disassemble it completely so each element gets cleaned individually.

Firstly, you’ll need to remove the chamber from the unit. This is super simple and can be done by unscrewing in a counter-clockwise rotation from the base. Once this is done it’s advisable to also remove the glass carb cap from the black rubber insert.

Finally, proceed to remove the hand-blown glass water bubbler from the base of the Peak by gently rocking it back and forth while pulling it away until it disconnects.

How to Clean Puffco Atomizer

Now that the atomizer and glass carb cap has been removed from the base it is time for cleaning.

To deep clean the atomizer and carb cap, you’ll need a bowl, isopropyl alcohol, and warm water. Place the chamber and carb cap in a bowl and allow them to soak in the alcohol until all residue has been dislodged from the parts. You will see that it is cleaning when the alcohol begins to turn a yellowish color.

Alternatively, you can also use isopropyl-soaked cleaning swabs to wipe any residue from the atomizer. Once allowed to soak properly, rinse off each element of the Peak with warm water before setting them aside to dry.

How to Clean Puffco Glass

Once you’ve removed the glass bubbler from the base of the Peak you’ll want to empty any remaining dirty water. Now it’s time to fill the bubbler approximately ⅓ of the way up with isopropyl alcohol.
