Puffco Pack Pro
The Puffco Peak Pro is the second generation of the Puffco Peak, a solution to the inconvenience that traditional dab rigs often bring. The Pro is a compact electronic dab rig unit that can be taken virtually anywhere for nice solid hits of incredibly potent and tasty vapor.
Featuring superior water filtration, a long-lasting battery, a flavor preserving ceramic bowl, borosilicate glass, and a Bluetooth app to name a few, the Peak Pro is packed with efficiency, sophistication, and elegance.

Build Quality
Puffco has made quite a few changes from the previous Puffco Peak model, and certainly for the better. The Peak Pro now has a matte finish which gives the unit a slick and cleaner look. The borosilicate glass cone has been even more tapered to prevent splashback and to allow users to add a little more water than before.
The Puffco rig now has an atomizer that is 40% larger than the original which will prevent leakage and allow the rig to work more efficiently. The overall design of the Peak Pro provides a comfortable dabbing experience that can be taken anywhere. Puffco even includes a handy travel case for sessions on the go.
Temperature Control
The Peak Pro e-rig is equipped with 4 different preset temperature settings all represented by an LED light at the bottom of the unit. These temperature settings are as follows:
- Blue = 254C (492F)
- Green = 266C (510F)
- Red = 277C (530F)
- White = 285C (545F)
Simply press the power button while the rig is turned on to cycle through these different temperature settings. If you’d like to have precision temperature control over the dab rig, you can download the Puffco Bluetooth app.
Battery Life
The Peak Pro rig will last you about 30 sessions on a fully charged battery. The unit can be charged via USB-C cable and will take about 2.5 hours to reach a complete charge. This enail dab rig even has a handy USB port in case you need to charge anything like your phone or another vaporizer.
Puffco Bluetooth App
The Puffco Bluetooth app opens up a whole new world of control and customization for the Peak Pro. When using the app, you can create custom heating profiles, giving you the ability to create and save dozens of customized settings depending on your needs and preferences. As mentioned before, the app will provide you with precision temperature control.
This mobile app also displays stats based on your use such as bowl temperatures, daily dabs, total dabs, and active heating settings. Lastly, you are given control over the LED light at the base of the rig. You can customize lights with the lantern mode with settings like pule, wave or disco. You can also switch the lights to stealth mode for those times you need to remain discreet.
How To Use Puffco Peak Pro?
The Peak Pro is a very simple e-rig to quickly learn how to use and master within just a couple of uses. This rig has a straightforward design that takes all the guesswork out of loading and operating it.
1. How To Operate Puffco Peak
E-rigs work at an optimal level when they are fully charged, so before you get started using the Pro be sure to plug it into the provided USB cable, then into an outlet. The rig will take roughly 2 hours to reach a full battery.
Press and hold the power button at the front of the device to turn it on, press the power button once again to cycle through temperature settings, then press the power button twice to begin heating up the unit.
The unit will vibrate when it reaches temperature and the light will go solid. Allow it to stay heated for a few minutes to burn off any residue remaining in the device from manufacturing.
Water filling
As you wait for the e-rig to cool back down, fill the glass cone with water just above the air holes keeping it separated from the base. Make sure that you do not get any water into the bottom puck. Align the air hole on the front of the glass with the air path on the base. Push the front in first and push the back down.
Loading your atomizer
Load the Puffco rig atomizer using the dab tool provided with the rig. Make sure not to overfill the atomizer or your vapor solid can suffer.
When using the device on its own without the Bluetooth app, there are 4 temperature presets to choose from. Cycle through these by pressing the power button once quickly. The light on the bottom of the rig will indicate what temperature setting you are on.
If you are using the Bluetooth app, you will have precision control over the temperature you can choose any temperature that you want within 254C-285C (492F-545F) Click the
power button to begin the heating cycle and the rig will take just 30 seconds to reach your desired temperature. The Peak will vibrate and the LED light will turn solid when it has reached your desired temperature. For optimal vapor, place your lips around the top of the glass cone then inhale nice and slowly.
You can double click the power button during your session and this will increase the heat and extend the session by 15 seconds. The boost settings can be customized using the mobile app.
2. How To Get the Best Vapor Quality
Achieving high-quality vapor with this Puffco rig is not hard to do by any means but there are always a few ways to take things to the next level of quality vapor. For starters, always make sure you are loading the correct amount of product at a time. Overloading the dab rig can not only lead to insufficient hits but can also damage the device over time. You should only be using about a rice grain-sized dab at a time for optimal performance.
Next, make sure that you swab out the Puffco Peak Pro after every single use to keep it working the way that it is supposed to. Keeping your Peak clean will keep draws from the rig powerful and flavorful. For some serious flavor from the Peak, preload the rig and start slow with lower temperatures, the flavor will be richer and the hits will be easier on your throats and lungs.
For a more powerful punch of vapor, preheat the Peak to the highest temperature and once it has fully heated, drop in your concentrate. This will provide much stronger and more dense hits. Lastly, take advantage of the Sesh Mode equipped on this device. This mode will add an additional 15 seconds to your draws.
3. How To Clean/Maintain It
To clean your Puffco dab rig, start by removing the cap and unscrewing the chamber from its base. Take the chamber and submerge it into a container of isopropyl alcohol for about 20 minutes. For the base of the unit, carefully clean the gold threads using a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. Then clean the airpath that is between the chamber and the glass. Avoid letting water seep into the gold threads at any time. The glass can also be removed and placed into a container of isopropyl alcohol to soak. Rinse off all pieces that have been submerged in isopropyl alcohol well with war water and dry before reassembling.
When you have the Puffco unit all clean and re-assembled, perform a quick burn-off to rid the device and any alcohol residue remaining. To do so, power your Peak Pro on, set it to the highest temperature setting and allow it to run for a few minutes. The e-rig is now safe to use.
