G pen elite vaporizer manufactured by the Grenco Science, same manufacturers of the G pro and the Micro G-pen is a new portable dry herb vaporizer released early 2016 and it was referred to by the Grenco Science as “a monumental leap in technology for both brand and industry,” personally I wanted to see if the unit would live up to the expectation and the hype.
Users must ensure that the following components are contained in the box when purchased. This includes;
- 1 G pen elite
- 1G guard
- 1G pen Tool
- 1 Cleaning Brush
- 1 USB charging cable
Once the above components are confirmed present in the box, the next thing to do is to fully charge the device and this can take up to 3 hours with the USB charging cable plugged to a computer system.
With your device fully charged, you take off the mouth piece which exposes the heating chamber of the Elite vaporizer and this can be effectively done by gripping both sides of the mouth piece firmly preferably in one hand and lifting one side upward afterwards.
Now that the oven is exposed, it is time to load the chamber with your finely ground herbs. Finely because the G pen elite, though portrayed to be a dual heating vape, utilizes more of conduction to heat up herbs in its heating chamber and if there is a direct contact between the herbs and the heating chamber (as conduction preaches), then the herbs needs to by finely grinned to ensure a smooth production of vapor clouds Load the heating chamber fully with your ground material.
And tamp down the contents with your fingers or preferably using the G pen tool. You can now replace the detached mouth piece and you are now good to go.
Good to go means you should power up your device by pressing the front panel button for about 5 times until a G logo is reveal on the outer surface of the G pen elite. Note that the unit will automatically shut itself off after 40 seconds of inactivity and also 5 minutes after heat-up is initiated.
The side buttons of the G pen Elite enables you to adjust your vaporization temperature with ease. It is recommended that you begin from a considerably low temperature to avoid losing your active ingredients to high temperatures. The side buttons also allows one to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit measures depending on choice of the user.
Holding down the front panel button for a second will initiate the heat sequence and once the LED display indicates that your selected temperature has been reached, you can now enjoy your smooth and pure draws.
Overall, The G Pen Elite is an ergonomically designed portable conduction vaporizer which is very easy to hold and while being powered by a high grade lithium-ion battery, the Elite sustains battery life and extends usage time.
