3 Common Reasons Why Your Best Vaporizer Isn’t Working & How You Can Fix It

How to fix your leaking vaporizer

As vaping grows in popularity, tons of people are taking a ride on the vaping train; with excitement assailing them as they open the box that arrives swiftly at their door, tear open the package, throw the very-important instructions away and pretend they know exactly what they’re doing. Even if you have the best vaporizer on the market, it cannot perform well unless you help it perform well. Common mistakes that beginners and vape veterans run into include packing the chamber too tight, not using the correct temperatures and forgetting the ever so important burn off test.

Pack tight, but not too tight

If you’re use to more traditional combustion methods of consuming your dried product  like smoking or using a bong/pipe, then you’d be pretty use to packing the dried product in tight. Take particular care when packing your chamber! Loosely packing the dried products will compromise airflow, while packing the dried products too tight will permeate the system. Finding the right balance is key to producing quality and satisfactory results. A rule of thumb – always grind your dried products fine. When you think your dried products are grinded correctly, they’re not. Grind again. This will give you better tasting dried products and will give you more ability to find the perfect consistency and balance for those dried products. Pack those dried products but pack them wisely.

Vaporizer Temperatures

Vaping Temperature

Temperatures, the most important aspect of a vaporizer and (arguably) the reason for their soaring popularity. But, the burning question and the one that keeps you up at night (no, not that one you’re thinking of) what is the ideal temperature for my vaporizer? Funny, you ask; the ideal temperature is anywhere between 347-392F – now, by all means, experiment all you want, no judgments here, but we do recommend vaping at the temperatures listed above – this way, no damage to the coil or rancid tasting vapor will occur!

Burn off those Vaporizers!

Lastly and the most vital step in owning and becoming a vaporizer King/Queen (anything in between) is doing the burn off test. If you don’t know what the burn off is well, then I know you didn’t do it and that probably why you’re getting a plastic-y taste off your vape. The Burn Off test is where you turn on the vaporizer on, you do not load the vape, I repeat, do not put any dried products in that chamber! The chamber needs to burn off any residue from the manufacturing process. Let the burn off process carry on for a further five minutes – this will just ensure that all materials left in the chamber will be gone!

Happy Vaping!

Don't worry, we all make mistakes, some more than others. Don't get yourself down if you didn’t grind those dried products fine enough, read the first sentence of this article to reassure you! Life is tough, we all need a bit of guidance, even when we’re trying unload that stress with some sweet dried products.
