How To Use Arizer XQ2?

1. How To Operate Arizer XQ2?

When you first turn on the XQ2 desktop vaporizer, you will be met with the Arizer logo followed by a smiley face, then you will be brought to the main screen displaying the current temperature of the unit along with the set desired temperature, both displayed in celsius.

If you would like to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit, simply press the settings button on the base of the XQ2 vape and navigate through the settings menu using the arrow buttons until you see “temp settings,” and switch from “C” to “F,” then return to the main screen.

To change the desired temperature, just use the arrow buttons to turn it up or down. The unit will begin to heat up to that new temperature.

The settings of the LED light strip at the bottom of the XQ2 desktop vaporizer base can be switched, and there are a few different ways to set it. You can choose to leave the strip set on a solid color from the following options: pink, purple, blue, cyan, green, yellow, orange, and red.

Two different modes can be set for the LED strip and these include spectrum and dynamic. Spectrum mode circles through all the different colors over and over, while dynamic mode uses the light strip to indicate the current status of the desktop unit. The light indications for dynamic mode are as follows:

• Yellow to orange: heating process
• Blinks green twice: set temperature
• Pulses orange over and over: stable temperature
• Pulses purple: fan operation
• Pulses cyan: cooling mode
• Pulses blue: cooling with fan

You can choose a solid color, pick from spectrum or dynamic mode, or turn the light strip off entirely by pressing the settings button and using the arrow buttons to scroll through options until you find “LED lights,” then go through those light settings again using the arrow buttons until you find the setting you want.

You can get started with the XQ2 balloon vaporizer by taking the glass connoisseur bowl and filling the extraction chamber with coarsely ground dry herbs up until the frosted joint begins.

Put the bowl onto the heater and allow the herbs to sit and prime for 3 to 5 minutes before getting started taking draws. When you are ready to begin taking draws from the Arizer XQ2 balloon vaporizer, you can either use the silicone whips or attach a balloon to fill up for more vapor production.

To use the silicone whip included in the XQ2 desktop vape kit, attach the whip to the connoisseur bowl, then take a draw from the borosilicate glass mouthpiece on the other end of the tube. You can also turn on the fan using the button on the base while inhaling for assisted draws that are more powerful. 

To fill up a balloon with the XQ2 balloon vaporizer, attach the glass whip adapter as you are priming the herbs and after a few minutes, connect the balloon bag to the adapter. You can then turn on the fan by using the fan button on the base of the unit. The balloon will begin to fill up with thick vapor.

When using balloons, it is recommended that you begin with lower temperatures and slowly increase the temperature as your bag fills up. When it has finished filling up, you can detach the balloon from the adapter and inhale it from the mouthpiece of the balloon.

You can use Arizer’s balloon caps to halt the output of vapor from the mouthpiece when taking a break from draws. 

The aromatherapy feature included in the XQ2 desktop vaporizer can be used for things like lavender, chamomile, orange peel, or any other botanical. All you need to do is place the larger aromatherapy glass dish on top of the heater, then turn the fan to spread the vapor extraction throughout the room. 

2. How To Get Best Vapor Quality

For optimal results, it is best to give your dry herbs a coarse grind that isn't too fine. Using herbs that are shredded into super small pieces can result in less than adequate vapor production, so make sure you are loading your bowl correctly.

After loading the bowl, allow the herbs to prime on the heater for 3-5 minutes before you get started with taking draws. This will allow the herbs to be cooked quicker and more efficiently which will result in high-quality vapor. Take the time to play around with different temperatures, fan settings, and device functions to find what works best for your preferences. 

3. How To Clean/Maintain It

To clean the Arizer XQ2 desktop vaporizer, start by taking all removable parts and removing any silicone or screens attached to them. Submerge all glass or metal parts in a container of isopropyl alcohol for about 30 minutes. Take a pipe cleaner to dislodge any debris stuck in these pieces. Rinse all of them well with warm water then towel dry. You can then take a brush tool to gently brush off the heater before reassembling these glass parts.
