When it comes to desktop vaporizers, there’s a lot of variety out there – at a very wide range of prices. Because most of these units do much the same thing, choosing a unit that fits your needs can be a hassle.
Today we’re looking at one of our recent additions to the desktop vaporizer category, the VapirRise.
What Is It?
Vapir’s VapirRise desktop vaporizer is a middle-of-the-road vaporizer for use with both ground aromatherapy blends and concentrated aromatics. It sports a few very handy features common in higher priced models, and surprisingly durable construction.
The VapirRise is very easy to use, so no matter your level of vaping experience, you’ll be able to get the most out of this unit without a lot of fiddling beyond the usual temperature and fan adjustments common to most desktop vaporizer units.
The Good
The VapirRise can do just about anything; you can vaporize ground plant material, oils and concentrates, using balloons, a single whip, or up to four whips using the included adapter. Controls for both heat and fan speed are visible and responsive – and the overall design is very compact and sleek. The unit itself fits in well with other modern appliances.
Notable for this price point as well is the large aromatherapy chamber – it holds a surprising amount of material, which is nice for longer vaporizing sessions, or when using with your friends.
It’s also got just about everything you need right in the box. Adapters for each of the three modes of use, mouthpieces, silicone whip, and even a pair of HEPA filters.
The Not So Good
Our chief concern with the VapirRise could also be seen as a safety feature; while the fan is adjustable, if it’s switched off (placed on the 0 speed setting) the heating chamber shuts down as well. What this means is that the unit will always be moving some vapor through any whips not closed by the valve system, leading to some inconvenience - though if you don’t mind this, or make strong use of the valves, it won’t affect you at all.
