Boundless Technologies are a vaporizer company whose main goal is to deliver the stealth and quality of high-end vaporizers but at a more affordable price and with an added layer of efficiency for the customer. Their flagship line right now is their CF vaporizers which include the CFX, CFC, CFV and CF 710, as well as the little vaporizing miracle we’re going to be talking about today, the Boundless CF. The Boundless CF is a great halfway point between Boundless’ bulky and powerful CFX and their stealthy and portable CFC. It combines everything you’d need in terms of power and efficiency and will still fit in your pocket to go anywhere.
What’s really exceptional about this piece however is how cheap it is. If someone were to be asked how much a hybrid heated, fully portable vaporizer were to cost, they’d probably price it past $200, but the Boundless CF is so affordable, you could probably grab it for a fraction of that price. The Boundless CF uses a swivel head lock and mouthpiece to hide a very large bowl which’ll offer up some great session times and, with a battery almost as good as the CFX, you could have multiple sessions throughout the day without running out of power.
Powerful But Portable
The CF model managed to retain a fantastic vapor quality through the use of a hybrid heat system. This combination allows for the best of both conduction and convection heat, giving an otherwise deliciously toasty flavor to an efficient and fast vape with less draw resistance. You really can’t go wrong with this vaporizer and it’s just an amazing all-round model that’s just as comfortable as a session vape as it is a stealth vape. Whether you’re going for long sessions or quick draws, there’s also a bunch of features to support you either way.
It might be powerful, but it has a great deal of stealth to it too, as all of the vapes in the CF line are made with a high-quality, matte-black plastic that keeps it from drawing attention. The CF is about as big as hand, but it’s slim enough so that it can easily fit into a jean pocket. Unlike the other vaporizers in the CF line, the actual CF model utilizes a unique stealth mode, made possible by the use of the LED’s as a temperature gauge as opposed to an LCD screen. This really just keeps the amount of light the CF projects down so that multiple blue lights aren’t shining from your vape so you can draw in piece.
Other Features
It’s already been said the The Boundless CF is made of plastic, and that’s usually a downside for most vapes as heated plastic has a nasty habit of ruining the taste of most vapes. The plastic Boundless have chosen however is of such a high quality that it doesn’t taint the vapor at all and remains strong and smooth through heavy, hot usage. What’s more, the plastic is also strong enough to take the daily abuse of being a portable model, resisting basic scratches, knocks and breaks.
The Boundless CF, as a safety feature, also has an auto-shutdown timer after ten minutes of continual use. This makes sure it’s not constantly hot and preserves battery life. The CF also comes with a large chamber which can hold half a gram of ground up, well packed material and can last for a couple of sessions throughout the day, but will need to be recharged at some point.
In terms of temperature, full control is something that was lost when they had to cut systems in order to make the CF that much smaller than the CFX. Thankfully however, the vape has an option for 5 different pre-set temperatures which are chosen through double-clicking the main button. Pre-set temperatures might not be as great as full control, but 5 isn’t a bad number so it’s more than likely you will come to a temperature that’ll come close to what you’re looking for.
If you’re looking for a good portable vaporizer on a budget, you really don’t need to look any further. You only usually see quality like this unless it has a price tag twice that what the CF usually goes for. A combination of conduction and convection heat in such a small package is rare, so if you're looking for an amazing portable vape but don’t have much cash to throw at it, well take a look at what the CF can do for you because I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
