Yocan Evolve Plus XL
The Yocan Evolve Plus XL is a minimalist dab pen with a simple one-button design that is ultra-easy to use and clean. This Yocan dab pen is equipped with dual quartz coil technology that provides a full extraction of your product resulting in clouds of tasty satisfying vapour in every session.
The compact body crafted from medical-grade stainless steel makes the unit easy to slip into any sized pocket or bag stress-free. This Evolve Plus XL has a convenient storage jar located at the bottom of the unit that allows you to carry extra dabs with you on the go. The long-lasting Yocan battery will allow you to enjoy dabs for up to 4 hours!

One Button Design
The Evolve Plus XL has a durable build crafted from medical-grade stainless steel with a simple one-button design that makes it ultra-easy to use. There are no temperature settings to cycle through, simply load, turn on and use! All functions of the vaporizer are controlled with this single button located at the front of the device.
Pressing the button 5 times within 2 seconds will turn the unit on or off while holding down the button is what heats up the coils. You can only hold down the button 10 seconds at a time before the safety feature kicks in and begins cooling down the coils.
Quad Quartz Coil Technology
These quad coils are made from medical-grade quartz that is wrapped up in high-grade titanium. This technology uses 4 quartz rod coils that provide a full extraction of your product resulting in powerful clouds of vapour. Quartz is a material that will not affect the taste of anything it touches which allows for incredibly flavorful vapour as well.
Battery
The Yocan dab pen has an internal 1100 mAh battery that is charged with a micro USB cable. Charging the vape will take about 1-2 hours and a full battery will last you 3-4 hours of continuous use.
Removable Silicone Jar
At the bottom of this Yocan vaporizer is a concentrate storage jar that can be easily removed and attached when needed. The inside of this storage jar is lined with non-stick silicone so that you can take a few dabs of wax on the go without a sticky mess. You can use this jar separately or keep it on the vape for easy travel.
Adjustable Airflow
One of the best features of the Evolve Plus XL is the airflow valve located right above the battery. This valve allows you to adjust the airflow during a session so that can enjoy a hit curated to your liking. Simply slide the valve left or right to increase or decrease airflow.
How To Use Yocan Evolve Plus XL
With its single-button operation and lack of complex features, the Yocan XL was one of the most simple dab pens on the market. Within just a few minutes of using this device, you get the hang of it.
1. How To Operate Evolve Plus XL
Burn-off Cycle
Before using the pen for the first time, it is always important to perform a burn-off cycle to remove any oils left behind from putting the device together. You can do this by pressing the power button 5 times within 2 seconds. With an empty chamber, hold down the button for up to 10 seconds when it automatically starts to cool down. Do this about 3 times to efficiently sterilize the vape.
Loading the Coils
Make sure that the Yocan dab pen has properly cooled down before going to load the coils. Remove the mouthpiece of the Yocan XL then unscrew the coil cap. Load about a grain-sized dab of concentrate onto the quad quartz coil and avoid stabbing the heating elements with the dab tool.
During Session
Replace the coil cap and mouthpiece, hold down the button to begin heating the oven, then begin taking slow draws from the vape.
2. How To Get Best Vapor Quality
One of the most important things you can do to maintain a high-quality vape delivery from your dab pen is to keep those quad quartz coils properly clean and maintained. This means cleaning off the wax from the coils after every couple of uses and replacing the coils about every 3-4 weeks depending on how often you vape.
When loading the coils with concentrate, make sure that you do not overfill the coils or this can result in low-quality vapour and a huge sticky mess. Do not ever attempt to use the dab pen with the material it is not compatible with such as dry herbs as you will waste product and risk damaging the vaporizer.
Lastly, the Evolve XL vaporizer is equipped with adjustable airflow. Anytime throughout your session, you can move the dial near the top of the unit left or right to adjust the airflow to your liking.
3. How To Clean/Maintain It?
If not already, shut off the Yocan vape by pressing the power button quickly 5 times. Remove the atomizer of this vaporizer from the battery along with the base piece. Submerge the coils into a container of isopropyl alcohol and leave them for a few hours to soak.
You can give the container a little shake after they have soaked to dislodge any remaining particles and gunk. Remove the coils from the container and dry them with a paper towel to rub off any remaining residue.
Repeat this process until the coils are clean and clear. When you notice the coils are efficiently cleaned, you can rinse the coils off well with warm water and dry them. For the mouthpiece, you can dip a cotton swab in isopropyl alcohol and clean it around the inside.
Reassemble the atomizer onto the battery and perform another burn-off cycle to remove toxins from any alcohol residue on the coils. Do this by turning on the Yocan vape, holding down the button and letting it run about 3 times for 10 seconds at a time.
