1. How To Operate the Boundless CFV vaporizer
Burn-off Cycle
Before using the Boundless CFV for the first time, make sure that you run a burn-off cycle first to remove any oils remaining inside from manufacturing. To do that with this unit, press the power button 5 times quickly to turn it on, and use the up adjustment button to set the vape to its highest temperature of 230C (446F).
Allow the portable vaporizer to run until it goes into standby mode after 5 minutes. The CFV can now be used.
Preparation and Loading
While you wait for the unit to cool back down you can get started with prepping your herbs. Use a grinder to break down your flower to a fine consistency. Remove the mouthpiece of the vape to expose the heating chamber, then loosely pack the material into the oven.
Airflow is very important when it comes to convection vaporizers, so make sure there is plenty of room for hot air to travel through and evenly cook the contents of the chamber. Once the chamber is packed, you can replace the mouthpiece and turn on the device.
Adjusting Temperature
Power on the CFV again by pressing the power button 5 times quickly, then use the adjustment buttons to adjust the temperature to your liking, choose any degree between 60C-230C.
During Use
Once the chamber has heated to your desired temperature setting, the flower bowl icon will appear on the digital display. Begin taking slow and steady draws from the mouthpiece for optimal vapor quality.
2. How To Get the Best Vapor Quality
For the absolute best vapor quality from the Boundless CFV, make sure you are taking proper care of your device and are cleaning out the spent material from the chamber after every single session as well as performing deep cleanings every other week or so. Keeping your unit nice and clean at all times will ensure powerful vapor that tastes great in every session.
One of the best features of the CFV vape is its compatibility with water pipes thanks to the handy water pipe adapter that is compatible with both 10mm 14mm bongs and rigs. Simply attach the water pipe adapter to the vaporizer and place it into the joint of any compatible piece. By doing this, the vapor gets filtered and diffused through the water which results in ultra-smooth hits packed with flavor.
When preparing your flower, make sure that you grind it to a medium to a fine consistency. This means that it is ground enough to be evenly vaporized but not too fine to where the vape gets clogged up. You’ll also want to make sure it has been loosely packed into the chamber.
Lastly, as you notice vapor begins to diminish throughout your session, you can remove the mouthpiece and give the contents of the oven a good stir with the provided packing tool. This can provide more even vaporization of the material.
3. How To Clean/Maintain It
When performing a deep cleaning on your CFV vape, you only need to worry about the heating chamber and mouthpiece. To clean the cleaning chamber, take a cotton swab that has been dipped in isopropyl alcohol and use it to wipe around the inside of the chamber, removing any residue.
Take the mouthpiece and disassemble it into two pieces then submerge them into a container of isopropyl alcohol to soak for about 30 minutes. Remove from the alcohol and use some pipe cleaners to dislodge any remaining particles stuck inside. When that is complete, rinse the mouthpiece parts well with warm water, reassemble, then reattach to vape.
Lastly, perform a burn-off cycle to remove any isopropyl alcohol residue left on the vape that can be unsafe to inhale the toxins. Do this by turning on the portable vaporizer, using the adjustment buttons to set it to 230C degrees, and letting it run till the unit goes into sleep mode after 5 minutes.
