Boundless Technologies. The company behind some of the most impressive yet affordable vaporizers on the market. Dedicated manufacturers whose sole purpose is to bring quality aromatherapy devices to the public. What they’ve only gone and done is announce the release of three new models of vaporizers coming this October 2017.
We’re always excited to hear from Boundless as they’re just the best when it comes to making quality, sturdy, delicious vaporizers but on a budget. The original CFX, which was compared to the Mighty at the time for also including hybrid heat, was under $200, and now a sequel to that amazing vape is one of the ones being announced.
Boundless CFX 2.0
This has got to be the model we are hands down the most excited for among the new releases. The original CFX was the largest brother of the greater CF line and packed the biggest punch of them all. As the largest vape, the CF was capable of cramming plenty of features that made this many people’s go to vape.
The original Boundless was treated as a sort of cheap, mini-Mighty, which should stand as a testament to how good this vape was. It was affordable but still adopted hybrid heat which is the fastest, most efficient form of heat while still being quite delicious.
What the original Boundless CFX also had was an LCD screen tied to full temperature control, which was something that the other CF models had to go without to make themselves more portable.
What this new vape is packing looks to take everything the Boundless was and bring it to the next level. Researching the piece, which’ll come out sometime in October, the biggest thing we’re looking at is the adjustable Convection to Conduction ratio. The hybrid oven the CFX works off of was one of the biggest advantages of buying a CFX when it first came out.
Some of the most delicious vapor on the planet at such a low price couldn’t have been believed, but there it was. And now, not only are we getting hybrid heat, but we’re getting adjustable hybrid heat, which not only adds a superior level of control, but it’s something we’ve never seen from other vapes before.
The new Boundless CFX comes with a couple of more extra’s just to add a little icing on the cake. Firstly, it comes with a vastly improved battery, apparently coming in at 3600mah’s and has updateable firmware. The vape will also apparently feature in three different designs. It’s unknown at this time whether Boundless will also be releasing new versions of the other vapes in the CF line, including the CF and the CFC.
All in all this model seems to be everything the first model was but taken to a whole new level. This is the model that forgot about portability and just focused on delivering power, taste and function instead and now that a sequel has come around we can’t wait to see what this baby can really do.
Their Desktop Model - Currently Unnamed
Another massive step forward for Boundless. With the announcement of their CFX 2.0 came the announcement that Boundless will be releasing a desktop model as well. The images of the desktop model released are showing it as a silver box, the top lid of which can flip up, revealing all of the vapes components inside. A really nice and efficient design.
The box itself is a beautiful chromatic silver with rounded, polished edges. Everything is self contained within the box itself, including all of the vaping attachments so it’s amazingly convenient. It’s elegant looking. So modern. It’s definitely going to be a must have item going into 2018.
It’s even a lot more discreet looking than all of the other desktop models on the market. With its boxed design, the only thing to give it away is the Boundless logo beautifully embossed on the top.
The desktop model is, of course, completely 100% convection with a complete variety in the way that you want to vape it. Not only is it compatible with a forced air-bag, one of the funnest ways to vape, but there’s also a whip function as well and both come with the vape on purchase.
Not only is it whip compatible, but you can adapt it to fit multiple whips so a you and your friends can all be vaping at the same time. We don’t know at this time whether the Boundless Desktop unit will come with multiple whips, but if not we’re sure they’ll be sold separately at a reasonable price.
Tera Portable Convection Unit
The Tera is another portable model that’s garnering as much attention as the other two for the technology behind it. Originally being referred to as the CFV 2.0 back when only images were what fans had to go on, Boundless recently came out in a blog to talk about the new Tera vape which will be their 100% convection heated model.
The fact that’ it’s 100% convection is impressive enough, but the Tera has come with a few really great extra’s that shown that Boundless are willing to go the extra mile.
The vape comes with two replaceable 18650 batteries, a top facing screen so you can see everything that’s going on as you’re vaping, full temperature control as well as a borosilicate glass mouthpiece for extra freshness in your draw. The tera has a strong and sturdy design being made from aluminum with an aluminum heat sink chamber.
It also seems to be at a good size as a comparison made between it, the CFV and the CFX put it roughly at the size of the CFV which is a good size for a vape to be at. It’ll be just big enough to fit right in your hand, and since one of the sides has a grooved grip, I’m sure it’ll feel very comfortable. The ch.amber size also is being reported by Boundless to be at 0.3 grams.
