To load the Firefly 2+, start by removing the magnetic lid on the front of the device. This will reveal the oven chamber—if you’re using dry herb, you can add it directly (making sure to grind it finely beforehand). If you’re using concentrates, fill the extract pad included in the kit, and then place the pad into the oven chamber.
2. Getting the Best Vapor Quality
The Firefly 2+ vapor quality is impressive, from its satisfying cloud production to its intense flavor profile. But for best results, we recommend you keep the following in mind:
The right temperature
A good temperature range to stay in with this Firefly 2+ portable vaporizer is around 325°F-430°F (163°C-221°C). This should offer satisfying amounts of flavor combined with thick vapor clouds.
Tip: For more flavor we recommend trying out lower temps, and for bigger clouds, we recommend trying out higher temps.
The perfect pack
For dry herbs, it’s recommended to grind them fairly coarsely, not too powdery but not too dense. You should fill the chamber loosely and gently pat down your pack.
For concentrates, it is recommended to use only a small amount of product and take advantage of the extract pads included in your kit.
Keep it clean

3. Cleaning the Firefly 2 +
The Firefly 2+ is a remarkably easy device to clean, thanks to its lack of hard-to-reach areas. The most important part of maintaining your Firefly 2+ is making sure the oven chamber is cleaned out, which moderate users should do once a week or so. The process is simple: just remove the lid, scrape out the excess material with a toothpick or small tool, and wipe down the chamber with a cotton swab and a bit of isopropyl alcohol (the device also comes with a number of alcohol wipes that can be used for this purpose). Aside from that, you’ll also want to wipe down the mouthpiece. If you’ve used the extract pad, you can soak it in warm soapy water or a bit of alcohol to loosen any gunk before wiping it clean.
Should You Buy Firefly 2+ Vaporizer?

An UNBEATABLE Taste!
This has the best taste of any vape hands down. I love it. It is also, the easiest to clean and maintain. I cannot believe how easy this is...the only thing it needs really is a magnetic stir stick of some kind. Then, it would be absolutely perfect...but, as is. It is divine. A great machine...outstanding.

The vape seems to work okay. There is a learning curve, that I am still on. An instant observation peaks! The mouthpiece is removeable for cleaning. Booklet says it should snap in place. It did, once! Now it falls out with the least amount of provocation. It will undoubtedly get lost in the near future. Another friend has one with the same problem. He has already purchased an additional mouthpiece since he lost the original. I expect that I will be in the same boat in the near future. Your engineers need to look into that failure!

I bought one of these 3 years ago and hated it. Couldn't get a decent hit it seemed. I read that there was a learning curve but didn't really give it time to figure it out. Had multiple conduction types and it seemed like an unnecessary hassle. Well 3 years and lots of concentrates later and I'm trying to get back to bud again (the coughing with concentrates) while trying to get that more intense buzz that burning it gives. So after reading some new reviews of the new 2+ and seeing it for less than $200 I sprang for ANOTHER one and don't you know, now I LOVE it. Yes you still have to figure out how to use it but it's easier (draws more air through) and I am motivated to find it. You can get such an intense rush from a nice hit with this, similar totally to concentrates. And no wasted 8 minute cycle where I put it down and forgot to hit it while it was on. No wasted heating between when you want to hit it and when you forget about it (because you hit it...). It's close to the perfect smoking vehicle IMO.
